Just having some fun in combining the use of various apps together. Featured here are, Sketchbook Mobile for illustration of the girl holding the iPod Nano, Ransom giving it a title of 'Allison', Photofunia backdrop of a busy town in Taiwan and to top it off with a tilt-shift effect, I had used the TiltShift Generator.

Illustration Friday: Music
Coming in for seconds, I just couldn't get enough of this week's topic from Illustration Friday. So I had to do this other one. I call this 'The Forbidden Fruit'. I used the iPod Nano as a metaphor for an apple. Which I think it fits the bill since the Nano is from Apple afterall. So hope you all like this second submission.

Illustration Friday: Music

It's a tough topic this week, at least for me that is. When music often heard and not seen, so envisioning what I hear can be pretty tough. I guess when I'm listening to a music this is what I see in my mind. A mirage of colours coming together in swirls. I'd normally love to loop the music of my choice over and over again. Can you guess what kind of music that I like from just looking at this visual?
Here I have used, an iPhone app called Artisan and Brushes to compose this piece.

Inspire Me Thursday: Tree
Trees always give me an abstract imagery. They can be really eerie and mysterious in the dark. Here, I potrayed trees as being strength in solitude. This is done with a combination of apps from the iPhone. Namely PhotoStudio, TypeDrawing and Brushes.
Windows 7 Touch painting - Art Rage PDC 2009
Seems to me like Microsoft wants to stick a thumb into the 'touch/finger painters' pie :). This Windows 7 Touch painting app was featured on Artrage PDC 2009 in Los Angeles.
Illustration Friday: Unbalanced
Oops... Seems like Vainy Val had a little accident. This is my next entry on Illustration Friday in this weeks topic, 'Unbalanced'. Done with Sketchbook Mobile on my iPhone.

Illustration Friday: Blur
I made this very quickly on my iPhone. Using thick brushes on low opacity. I overlay one stroke after another with no definite line work to convey blurness on this piece. I hope this works for you folks. Enjoy.
Done with Brushes app on my iPhone.

ThreeFive Mech
Discovered this cool new app, SolidDots. Is my first 3D sculpture I did on it. As always, being new to any app, it'll always start off as clunky. Unfortunately, you can't export out the work into your album so I had to screen capture it. I pulled it in to Brushes to add a rough background for it. So there you go, just want to share my experience with this new creative tool.
